I can not believe he did that!

For his new movie Sasha Cohen hijacked Milan Fashion week -

Baron Cohen and his team used fake passes to fool security guards into letting them into a backstage area of a show by the Italian label Iceberg.

One of the comedian's team, dressed in a head-to-toe velcro suit, caused chaos by running around and careering into clothes racks.

In footage aired on Italian television, flustered fashionistas screamed "security, security" until the man was manhandled away by security guards.

The team tried to enter a second fashion show on Thursday evening but were thwarted by tightened security.

Baron Cohen – best known for his creations Ali G and Borat, the blundering journalist from Kazakhstan – is in Milan working on a new film featuring his character Bruno.

The movie, Bruno: Delicious Journeys Through America for the Purpose of Making Heterosexual Male, is due out in May.

It is being shot in the same mockumentary style that was such a hit in Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan.

Bruno, like Borat, is one of the sketch characters from Baron Cohen's popular TV series, Da Ali G Show.

Spring Wear

Loud limbs have their role. But the newest looks in legwear come in neutral tones as designers give patterns a more tranquil update for spring.

Legwear’s tried-and-true colors, such as black and white, navy blue and nude, are making a comeback this spring. But this isn’t your granny’s hose. Manufacturers are keeping their collections fresh with intricate openwork, quirky patterns and by adding an occasional watercolor pastel.

Calvin back in NYC

Calvin Klein wants a piece of the American Dream. Are you in?

Good news for girls in Gotham: This year, for the first time ever, Calvin Klein Menswear will show in New York during Fashion Week, instead of in Milan.

Translation: many hot boys, and easier access to many hot looks for your boys.

Don’t get too excited though - the stateside move is a temporary one honoring the brand’s 40th Anniversary this year. The change is likely to garner some attention for the label, which means maybe you can get your boyfriend / brother / hopelessly unfashionable best friend out of their saggy jeans and into something more successful.

Unfortunately, there will be no instant gratification, as we’ll have to wait for the Fall ‘09 show in February to see the delicious creations (clothes and men alike) strut down the catwalk.

But we think it’ll be worth it. Because as style arbiter Jim Moore said, “When I think of Calvin Klein, I think of modern, timeless design – and what could be more timeless than coming back to New York?”

ALEXANDER TEREKHOV RETURNS TO NEW YORK

Already hailed as one of the most promising up-and-coming designers in the world, Alexander Terekhov is preparing to bring his label Terexov to New York for a fifth season in September. Driven by the simple desire to create clothes that make women look elegant and beautiful, Terekhov is a natural fit in New York with his aesthetic of luxe minimalism and focus on a precision cut using expensive fabrics.

Harvey not ready to let Halston go....

Halston may have stripped itself of a head designer and a red carpet consultant recently, but the absence of Marco Zanini and Rachel Zoe won't keep owner Harvey Weinstein and board member Tamara Mellon from showing a Halston collection during New York Fashion Week.

In fact, it sounds like they're pulling out all the stops — the Spring 2009 collection, started by Marco Zanini and reportedly finished by an in-house team, will be presented at the Museum of Modern Art, a venue that can't be cheap to rent out. With five weeks until the presentation, who knows what could happen between now and then: Harvey Weinstein doesn't seem the type to throw in the towel on an investment.

Wasting No Time Making Friends

Though Nina Garcia serves as editor at large at Elle through season five of “Project Runway,” it seems she’s already getting a head start on her fashion director duties at Marie Claire. Her new gig officially begins Sept. 2, but sources close to the magazine say Garcia has already moved into her office, the former digs of Tracy Taylor, who was dismissed in May to make way for Garcia. The “Project Runway” judge also is said to be conducting “run-throughs” for fashion shoots for the January issue. Sources said Garcia’s requests for high-end designer wares to be featured in fashion spreads can at times be at odds with Marie Claire’s more mass-market sensibilities.

A spokeswoman for Marie Claire said, “Nina is on contract with Elle that prohibits her from working for Marie Claire before Sept. 1. She has been in the office only to work out her travel schedule for the European fashion shows this fall.”
