André Leon Talley Will Not Style Michelle Obama

[L]et me go on record saying that I have never, ever given her any advice on what to wear. To put the record straight, I think that Michelle Obama does not need advice.

She has, in many ways, taken some of Jackie's elements of simplicity, elegant restraint, three strands of bubble-gum pearls, the flip of hair, solid colors, simple lines, and clothes—and it's working for her. I think she's incredible.

Madonna and Guy Don't Read Tabloids, Says Pal

In the past few weeks, Madonna and husband Guy Ritchie have endured intense speculation about the status of their marriage. But the couple isn't affected by the media scrutiny, says one pal – in fact, they completely ignore it. "I know for a fact [that] they don't read anything," actor Vinnie Jones – a longtime Ritchie pal – told People Thursday at Hollywood screening of his new film Hell Ride.

The Beijing National Stadium will be the primary architecture for the 2008 Olympic in China. It will held all of the track & field competitions plus the opening and closing ceremonies. The stadium is also known as the "Bird's Nest" due to it's amazing design. The architects of the "Bird Nest" are Pritzker Prize-winners Herzog & de Meuron plus several other super talented architects. The stadium seats 100 thousands audiences during the Olympics. The entire "Bird Nest" is constructed using over 45 thousands tons of steel and cost over 450 million USD. Here are some beautiful pictures of this amazing architecture:

The other amazing architecture built for the Olympic 2008 is the Beijing National Aquatics Centre, also known as the "Water Cube". It's built alongside Beijing National Stadium. It is constructed using ETFE clad structure so the outlook of the building is like a water cube. It will host all of the aquatic competitions during the 2008 Summer Olympics. Here are some shots of the "Water Cube":

DESIGNER FRIDA GIANNINI REINVENTED THE HOUSE OF GUCCI BY KEEPING THE SEX SUBTLE AND MAKING THE CLOTHES JUST IRRESISTIBLE. FOR FALL, THE MAGIC CARPET R

Italian-born Gucci creative director Frida Giannini had a very large pair of logo loafers to fill when she took the reins at the Italian fashion house. Her predecessor, Tom Ford, held her office for a decade and completely revamped and reinvented the storied luxury label. This season, however, more than any other, Giannini is proving that she has a firm grasp of the future of the double G logo. And she’s doing it her way. While Ford was concerned with branding and the label’s celebration in the world press (feats he accomplished with flying red, green, and white colors), Giannini has repositioned the Gucci aesthetic as a brash, beautiful, customer-focused international powerhouse with clothes that are as nonchalant as they are subtly seductive. Tom put the brand on everyone’s lips, but it’s Frida who is keeping the pants on their hips. Ford sold sex and lace and purple nipples; Giannini sells modern cool that is instantly classic yet perfectly of this moment. Appointed to the top gig after climbing the Gucci ladder to the head of the accessories department, she is a modern working woman who knows her customer. But more importantly, Giannini knows her Gucci.

I would love to see what magazine is that for!
