Kate set to net £25m if her Topshop designs launch in China

Kate Moss could earn up to £25 million if plans to take her Topshop range to China go ahead. The collections she's designed for the high street chain, which are inspired by her own wardrobe, are already a hit in London and New York - and will now be the focus of the store's launch on the vast Asian country.

The cover girl was originally paid £3 million for the design deal, but will earn far more if her collection goes on sale in China, thanks in part to the country's booming economy.

Vogue Brazil

The editors at Vogue Brazil seem to be listening to some of the criticism and making an effort to present better content. The latest cover of the magazine, featuring five promising newcomers, is the best and coolest I have seen on the magazine in a long time.

Skins to BBC America

I am STOKED!!!! My absolute fave TV show Skins, which I’ve obsessively watched in 10-minute segments on the internet til now, has been added to the BBC America lineup and will be debuting August 17th at 9pm!

This series is brilliant. The characters, the script, the music, the (very explicit) content, the fashion — everything about it is genius. It’s nothing like the CW American teen drama we all are familiar with. Skins really knows how to get my heart beating.

And if you didn’t know already, the boy in the dusty lime tee in the top left corner is Nicholas Hoult, the little boy from that cheeky Hugh Grant flick About a Boy. Intrigued yet?!

Don't you think the idea of the V story is very similar to the shoot from Steven Meisel? See the pictures below

Jourdan on ID cover

Those July 2008 Vogue Italia shockwaves keep on resonating: Black models are covering POP Fall 2008, Harper's Bazaar September 2008, and now Jourdan Dunn shows up on i-D September 2008, photographed by Emma Summerton. Even V 55 is rumored to be a Naomi Campbell extravaganza. Speaking of Naomi, how much does Jourdan call to mind the supermodel on this cover and in the accompanying "Welcome to the witching hour" editorial?

Michael a Gossip Girl

THE GOSSIP ON MICHAEL: Michael Kors’ star turn on “Project Runway” has turned him into a household name. Now the designer will take his TV-friendly persona one step further and appear as a guest in the next season of “Gossip Girl,” which launches on the CW network Sept. 1. Kors spent part of Tuesday taping the fashion week-themed episode at Capitale on the Bowery, where a fashion show took place. “I was glued into ‘Gossip Girl’ from Day One,” Kors said. “I think it truly is the ‘car-crash-that’s-glamourous.’ Probably to the consternation of certain people on the Upper East Side, they really get it. It’s a pretty clear picture of how a lot of these kids really are.”

Kors’ affinity extends to central characters Blair, Serena, Chuck and Nate. “I love the clothes, everyone is good-looking, the plot line is a riot,” Kors said. “I love the show. They called and said, ‘You are very Gossip Girl.’ I thought, ‘Finally, I am a teenager.’”
